CK Group are recruiting for a Shift Engineering Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation that develop and manufacture veterinary products. This role is based in Dundee on a full time, permanent basis.

Shift Engineering Technician Role:

Your main duties will be to:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the production equipment.
  • Perform planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous process improvements, installing cutting edge state of the art operating systems where precision and impact converge.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance - provide seamless operations of all equipment and auxiliary systems on-site while meeting the relevant standards and in accordance with the site maintenance processes.   
  • Investigate equipment failures and support activities necessary to improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, (electronic/paper), adhering to safety protocols, and compliance with quality standards are essential.
  • Ensure that all records are up to date, supporting a reliable and compliant operation.
  • Supporting all environmental and Health & Safety requirements you will safely execute maintenance activities including Permits to Work, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, Safe Work Practice, COSHH.
 

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working in a GMP environment with an in-depth understanding of GMP processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Minimum C&G, ONC, OND in Engineering Discipline.
  • Experience in an Engineering Technician role or equivalent.
  • Experience working in GMP environment preferred.
  • Have a good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures and systems.
  • Pharmaceutical experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Computer literate (email / MS Applications etc.).
