Shift Engineering Technician
CK Group are recruiting for a Shift Engineering Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation that develop and manufacture veterinary products. This role is based in Dundee on a full time, permanent basis.
Shift Engineering Technician Role:
Your main duties will be to:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the production equipment.
- Perform planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous process improvements, installing cutting edge state of the art operating systems where precision and impact converge.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance - provide seamless operations of all equipment and auxiliary systems on-site while meeting the relevant standards and in accordance with the site maintenance processes.
- Investigate equipment failures and support activities necessary to improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation, (electronic/paper), adhering to safety protocols, and compliance with quality standards are essential.
- Ensure that all records are up to date, supporting a reliable and compliant operation.
- Supporting all environmental and Health & Safety requirements you will safely execute maintenance activities including Permits to Work, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, Safe Work Practice, COSHH.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience working in a GMP environment with an in-depth understanding of GMP processes, procedures and documentation.
- Minimum C&G, ONC, OND in Engineering Discipline.
- Experience in an Engineering Technician role or equivalent.
- Experience working in GMP environment preferred.
- Have a good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures and systems.
- Pharmaceutical experience desirable, but not essential.
- Computer literate (email / MS Applications etc.).
