CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer, to join a global chemical manufacturing company, at their facilities located near Durham, on a permanent basis. This role will offer hybrid working (3 days onsite/ 2 days WFH)

The Company:

Our client is a leading chemical manufacture, specialising in developing and producing personal care and laundry care products and exports them globally.

Location:

This position is located near Durham, UK with flexibility of hybrid working. 

The Role:

To focus on seeking registrations for all the products required to meet stretching share objectives within multiple different categories within the FMCG market. Those categories include hand hygiene, homecare, laundry, washing up liquid, shower, deodorant.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and maintain compliant regulatory applications for Biocides and Detergents whilst working with a 3rd party RP for Cosmetics.
  • Work with the brand team to define the regulatory route to market for new products and their ongoing compliance and market attractiveness.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies for New Product Development (NPD) projects, from inception through Post-Market Surveillance, to ensure ongoing compliance and support product launches.
  • The role covers UK, IRE, FR and Germany - with potential to incorporate new countries.
  • Creation of SDS via Global MSDS for all products.

Your Background:

  • Degree in Science or Technology with recognised regulatory or related subject, with wealth of experience working within quality assurance, regulatory and new product implementation activities within a FMCG environment.
  • Experienced within regulated environments such as personal and household care, cosmetics (5years+).
  • In-depth knowledge of US and EU legislation regarding Personal care /cosmetic  and EU Biocidal products.
  • Up to date proven R&D and regulatory experience.
