Job Title: Senior Director, Clinical Operations

Salary: £100 – 120K

Description:

CK Group are looking for a Senior Director, Clinical Operations to join a clinical stage biotechnology company in Cambridge.

Our Client has established a leadership position in the enzymes field. These enzymes are now emerging as attractive therapeutic targets as they are involved in many disease pathways and pathologies.

Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Development you will be responsible for leading and managing all clinical operations activities for products in development, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality clinical studies.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical development planning

• Protocol design

• Management of external vendor relationships, including RFP development, selection and oversight

• Investigator recruitment and selection

• Management of resource planning, including recruitment and budgeting

• Leadership of internal and external clinical study teams

Requirements:

• Extensive clinical operations experience gained in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company

• A relevant life sciences degree

• In-depth knowledge of GCP, GMP and GLP requirements

• Proven ability to lead the delivery of high-quality clinical studies

• Leadership and program management experience

• Ideally have experience in CNS or mitochondrial disease
