Scientist
CK QLS are recruiting for a Scientist, to join a leading pharmaceutical company, on a 12 month contract basis. We are seeking a Scientist QC Biochemistry, with expertise in chromatography methods to join our Biologics Analytical Department in Lucerne/Schachen, Switzerland. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel biopharmaceuticals and play a key role in the release and stability testing of clinical batches.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute chromatography methods for release & stability testing of Biologics.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of lab work in compliance with cGMPs and good documentation practices.
- Conduct method validation experiments according to approved protocols.
- Author methods, technical protocols, and reports.
- Improve methods and troubleshoot equipment and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate analytical equipment following cGMPs.
Qualifications:
Educational requirements:- Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Pharmaceutics/Biological Sciences or similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree/Laboratory Technician EFZ with 3+ years of industry experience.
Experience and skills:
- In-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry and hands-on experience with analytical testing by HPLC/UPLC methods.
- Familiarity with relevant CDS (e.g. Empower) and precise pipetting skills.
- Experience in analytical method validation and GMP working environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication in English and German, and a proven team player.
Day-to-day:
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and running chromatography methods, maintaining accurate documentation, conducting method validation experiments, and contributing to the improvement of methods and troubleshooting around equipment and procedures.
