Science Park Liaison - South East England

Following recent expansion, the company has a new and unique opportunity for someone within the life sciences industry to work as a liaison between CK Group and various UK life science parks in the Golden Triangle in the South East of England.

This is a unique opportunity to build a network within UK life sciences in a non-traditional sales style role.

The successful individual willwork in close collaboration with the UK delivery team to attract new clients. This will include pro-actively engaging in relevant networking events, conferences and (with the support of marketing colleagues) organising events to attract companies & clients and improve relations.

This role is focussing on life science parks in the Golden Triangle. This person will be based in one of CK Group's partner offices (likely Canary Wharf) and will be within an easy commute of Stevenage and the restof the Golden Triangle.

The focus for new business will be within the defined focus areas within the CK Group services (contracting & permanent placement) from the UK.

Next to sales, the individual will also conduct account management andclient support activities (taking briefs etc.) - expectation is 80% business development.

The main purpose of this role is to get a better connection with the sciences parks and occupants in the Golden Triangle and create a steady inflow of vacancies for CK Group Recruitment Consultants to deliver on.

The ideal candidate will have an education in life sciences and experience within the UK life sciences industry. Either of these aspects will help you build your personal brand and network quickly. Understanding of the recruitment sector is a positive but not essential.
