R&D Chemist
CK Group are recruiting for a R&D Chemist to join a Chemical company at their sites in Wigan on a permanent basis. This is a Monday to Friday, 8-4pm with a hourly rate of £12.50 per hour.
The Company:
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Standish, but will also cover their other site in Wigan.
R&D Chemist Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Undertake experimental work in accordance with the R&D Manual
- Record all process information regularly and clearly to allow review and generation of commercial process instructions
- Preparation of laboratory samples
- Testing and evaluation of Raw Materials
- Calibration of equipment
- Provide suitable data for transfer purposes
- Record work and generate reports as requested
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Ability to follow chemistry testing techniques
- Experience working in a busy lab environment
- BTEC / HNC in Chemistry (or equivalent Level 4 qualification in chemistry)
