QC Microbiologist

CK Group are recruiting for a QC Microbiologist, to join a animal health pharmaceutical company. This role is based at their site in Milton Keynes. This is a contract role for 12 months initially.  

Salary:

PAYE £11.67 per hour - £18.24 per hour.

QC Microbiologist Role:

• Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with GMP.
• To perform and oversee testing of intermediate and finished products in accordance with GMP.
• Microbiology testing and training of personnel (Bioburdens, water testing, plate reading, sterility testing, growth promotion, Lungworm testing and Inactivation’s) in accordance with SOP’s.
• Supporting with investigations to identify root-cause and implementation of appropriate CAPA’s in the Quality Management System.
• Release of batches in accordance with LROT, escalating any potential affect to supply.

Your Background:

• GMP Compliance.
• Experience in Quality Control testing.
• Experience in laboratory investigations.
• Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System.
• Science degree.
• Microbiology lab experience.
