QC Analyst

CK Group are recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a multinational chemical company at their site based in Hartlepool on a Permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is multi-national chemical manufacturing company that supplies raw materials toa variety of industries, including food, drinks and health sectors.

Location:

Hartlepool, North East England

Your main duties will be:

• Analysis of raw materials, traded products, manufactured products, in-process samples and recheck samples, and recording of tests results on the system
• Ensure samples are processed through QC within the desired time period and priorities are managed
• Calibrate and standardise all equipment and chemicals in line with Quality Systems
• Undertake relevant analysis in respect to complaints and complete within the complaints system
• Review potential suppliers specifications and samples
• Stock Management
• Advise plant personnel of product non-conformance and corrective / preventative actions
• Liaise with R&D regarding analysis and method development for new and existing materials

Your Background:

• Laboratory based analytical experience
• Experience of GC, titrations and other wet chemistry analysis is essential.
• Method development and validation is desirable.
• Good laboratory practice
• Proven ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally
• Capable of working under own initiative and as part of a team.
