We do have a hybrid work model. The candidate will start fully on site and then switch to hybrid as appropriate for business needs (usually 1-2 days)
Description of the department
The Metrology & Validation team are responsible for the maintenance, qualification and validation of laboratory analytical instruments and equipment in multiple laboratories and departments of the company. Metrology projects include instrument/equipment purchase, qualification/validation, and new software implementation.
We require an experienced Project Manager to support the planning, readiness, and track execution of team projects.
With your help we will ensure success by clearly defining, coordinating, managing and tracking all projects in scope of the Metrology team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Preparation and management of project schedules for Metrology projects, including instrument/equipment qualification and new software implementation.
- Routine preparation of project status updates for key stakeholders
- In coordination with US Metrology teams, develop and management of standard work templates for routine projects and implementation of a standardized project prioritization process
- Role may involve purchase order preparation and budget tracking specific to the projects being managed
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly appreciated.
- Experience with MS Project, Smart sheets, Power Project or other project management software is required
- Degree or certification in project management is required
- Minimum of 3-5 years project management experience
- Experience within the Biotech/Pharmaceutical or regulatory industry is an advantage, but not required
- English C1 mandatory, German is nice to have
Daily attendance of project update/stakeholder meetings and weekly team meetings. Daily management of Power Project schedules and updates from key contributors. Working across EU and US teams to drive implementation of project management practices
