Procurement Specialist
CK Group are working in partnership with Nxera Pharma UK Limited (formerly Sosei Heptares), to recruit a Procurement Specialist based in either Granta Park, Cambridge or Central London.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for managing and improving key systems and processes critical to the company's operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and system application skills Leadership of the R&D team and oversight of the budget.
- Management of procurement processes (ERP/Source2Pay), including new supplier evaluation and set-up and PO management.
- Tracking and reporting (via Power BI) key operational metrics including procurement cycle times, procurement efficiency, PO volumes & spend and category spend Review and oversight of preclinical regulatory submissions to multiple regulatory authorities.
- Analyse supplier spend to help identify opportunities for negotiation and drive best value, including development of a preferred suppliers list.
- Supporting the procurement of materials and services using S2P platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
As Procurement Specialist you will require:
- A BSc or professional qualification in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as part of a procurement and/or vendor management team.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate supplier proposals, contracts and spend data:
- Experience in data management and analysis.
- Expert in Excel (including pivot tables / v-look ups).
- Experience of other analytical tools such as PowerBI.
- Ability to analyse large data sets in order to provide insights that help drive procurement data led decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including effective written communication (reports, correspondence) verbal communication (face to face and by telephone) to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project and financial management skills.
BENEFITS:
Salary of £35,000-£40,000 plus benefits package.
