Process Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a metals and materials recycling company based near Matlock on a full time, permanent basis.

Location:

This Process Engineer role is located in near Matlock and is easily commutable by road from Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and surrounding areas. Please note the ability to drive with own transport is essential in order to reach site.

Process Engineer role:

• Development and update of current P+IDs using Autocad LT
• Updateand develop process flow diagrams.
• Update current process control documentation to allow maintenance H+S department and operations to fully understand how specific processes work.
• Develop SAP Crystal reports as per operational needs for data analysis and performance monitoring.
• To aid troubleshoot, establish the root causes of process issues and suggest effective corrective and preventive actions.
• To identify ways of reducing operating & maintenance costs, including energy costs.
• To maintain engineering and process document management and control.
• To contribute to HAZOP and COMAH processes as technical process / project engineering expert.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Honours Degree level in industrial process engineering, chemical/ chemistry, or heavy engineering essential.
• Understanding of P+ID, PFD
• Excellent IT Skills, proficient in MS Office
• Autocad experience or other drawing package.
