Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

CK Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician, to join a pharmaceutical company at their site based in Pirbright, on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of animal health pharmaceuticals.

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Pirbright.

Mechanical Technician Role:

Your main duties will be:

• Maintenance, fault finding and repair on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems across facilities, utilities, production and R&D laboratories.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of equipment.
• To ensure adherence to all EHS, biosafety and GMP regulations.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Completed an apprenticeship in maintenance engineering (equivalent experience or education can be considered).
• Prior experience in a maintenance role within GMP regulated manufacturing (pharma, food, life sciences. Hospital or NHS experience would also be considered).
• Excellent mechanical fault finding, maintenance and installation experience.
• Experience working on chiller plants, centrifugal pumps and chilled water systems would be highly beneficial in this role.
