Molding Process Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Molding Process Technician to join a medical technology company at their site based in Groningen for a 6-month contract.

The Company:

Our client is a world leader in pharmaceutical and medical research. At their Groningen site they are developing advanced medical optics.

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Groningen.

Process Engineer Role:

Your main duties will be:

• Mixing monomers & polymers.
• Cutting, lathing and polishing polymers.
• Assisting with process development and scale up projects.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A degree level education in chemical engineering.
• Hands on experience molding, milling, lathing and polishing.
• Prior experience in polymer mixing.
• Knowledge of process and equipment validation.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as DMTA, GC and HPLC.
