Julia Day at the CK Group is looking for an experienced MSL to join a biopharmaceutical company who specialise in rare diseases. This is the first field-based medical affairs role for the company in the UK. It is a small, but growing affiliate and this is truly an exciting time to join. This MSL role will report into the Medical Affairs Director, UK and Ireland. It is an integral post working on pipeline products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in identifying and building relationships with KOLs.
  • Support collaborations with clinical experts, patient groups, and the scientific community.
  • Provide education to healthcare professionals on this rare disease within endocrinology.
  • Identify ad capture external insights about the disease and patient needs.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships both within the UK and internationally.
 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • It is essential you hold a scientific degree. Ideally with an MSc, PhD, MPharm although these are not essential.
  • Experience working as an MSL in the UK.
  • Experience in rare diseases, paediatrics or endocrinology would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about patient care and innovative, proactive and solutions orientated.
  • A solid understanding of the ABPI.
