The CK Group are looking to recruit a Medical Affairs Lead for a biopharmaceutical company. This role will lead the respiratory team and you will support the tactical implementation of the medical strategy plans whilst ensuring operational excellence within the medical affairs team. You will also help the Head of Medical Affairs devise the medical affairs strategy.

Location:

Hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

  • Line management responsibilities of a Medical Manager and 2 Medical Advisor’s.
  • Be the therapy expert internally and externally.
  • Attend national and international scientific meetings, congresses etc.
  • Run national advisory boards, supporting both MSLs and Medical Managers with these events.
  • Develop relationships with external stakeholders and Patient Organisations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory affairs, commercial and market access teams, in particular.
  • Ensure adherence to the ABPI compliance, internal policies, and relevant standards of practice.
  • Lead the up-and-coming advisory board in 2025.
  • Work across the life cycle with both mature and pipeline products.
 

Your Background:

  • Experience in medical affairs.
  • Ideally experience in respiratory medicine although this is a preference, not essential.
  • In depth understanding of the ABPI code of practice – either a final medical signatory, AQP, commercial signatory or equivalent knowledge.
