Medical Advisor, Rare Diseases

CK Group are looking for an experienced medical affairs professional to join a team of 3 and work in rare diseases. This is a broad and diverse medical affairs role working with a product launched around 18 months ago with pipeline extensions and an NME planned over the next 12 months. This role will involve both internal and external medical affairs activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop medical affairs strategy plans for all areas of medical affairs.
• Generate, analyse and interpret clinical trial data.
• Develop and manage relationships with external KOLs.
• Devise new innovative ways to engage externally through medical education and increase patient monitoring and recruitment.

Your Background:

• Broad experience in medical affairs (approx. 5 years) including medical education, medical strategy, insight generation and KOL engagement.
• In depth understanding of the ABPI and the NHS.
• Experience in Neuromuscular Disease / Duchenne's muscular dystrophy would be advantageous but not essential.
