Mechanical Fitter

CK Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a medical device and pharmaceutical company at their site based in Sedgefield on a contract basis for 3 months, with view of this role becoming a permanent position afterwards.

The Company:Our client is a leading manufacturer of medical devices, sterilisation and cleaning products for the life science and healthcare markets.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Sedgfield.

Mechanical Fitter Role:

Your main duties will be:

• The maintenance, upkeep and repair of a variety of manufacturing equipment.
• Modifying existing equipment.
• Installing new equipment.
• Liaising with external suppliers forspecialist support.
• Identifying repeat issues and developing a more robust preventative maintenance program.

Your Background:

• Previous experience and training in mechanical maintenance.
• Great fault finding experience.
• Previous experience maintaining production equipment, ideally in a pharmaceutical or chemical environment.
