Maintenance Engineer

CK Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join a leading waste company at their site near Leeds. As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will work within the Waste Treatment Division and Quarries to provide onsite maintenance at its sites located within the Yorkshire region. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, with alternative Saturdays 7.00am to 12.00noon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine breakdown mechanical maintenance of process equipment.
• Undertake routine monitoring, preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
• Provide support for process development and site improvements.
• Maintain records of work undertaken and of inspections.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience of working in a process and/or quarry industry setting.
• Practical knowledge of welding and fabrication.
• Practical knowledge of using forklift trucks.
• An ONC/HNC in mechanical maintenance.
• A full, valid driving license.
