CK Group are recruiting for a Health Economist, to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, on an initial 12-month contract basis. This role is fully home-based.

Salary:

Daily £750 - £884.82 Umbrella.

Health Economist Role:

  • You will bring valuable contribution to the Global Modelling & Evidence Synthesis team by leading targeted modelling projects and studies.
  • The role will will focus on health economic evidence generation, study management, publication support, strategic and external engagement support.
  • You will provide technical support for numerous modelling projects, such as proposal formulation, debugging, model updates, and responding to ad hoc analysis or requests, supporting model adaptations.
  • You will create country support materials, such as modelling tools, value dossiers, slide decks, and webinars, ensuring model quality control and validation, and organizing webinars and training sessions on specific modelling topic.
  • The successful Health Economist will also support publication efforts and external engagements with HTA bodies, NITAGs, public health institutions, other health authorities, or external experts.

Your Background:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Health Economist.
  • Strong capabilities in health economic modelling, a robust publication record, and experience with developing excel based health economic models (including macros).
  • Programming in R/Matlab is desirable.
  • A Masters or PhD in Health Economics or similar relevant subject.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
