CK Group are recruiting for a Graduate Food Technologist to join a global leading food brand company at their site based in Sheffield, on a contract basis for 3 months.  

 

Salary:

£16.03-£20.84 per hour PAYE, depending on experience.

 

Graduate Food Technologist Role:

  • You will work as part of a cross-functional team to lead and deliver the activities required to complete Process Design and Process Deployment for Innovation, Growth and Productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
  • You will play a key role in jellies production mapping and you would help to build the benchmark for the key ongoing initiatives. 
  • You would be helping to create a linkage between R&D team and plant and improving information exchange between those two partners.
  • Working closely with R&D teams leaders as part of the biggest jellies projects impacting our client's Sheffield Plant. 

Your Background:

  • A degree in Food technology or related subject.
  • Experience in R&D, and or fast-moving consumer goods environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to apply fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyse data and to reach clear conclusions.
  • Communicating technical information effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Good IT skills, experience with Microsoft packages.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn.

This role is based at our clients site in Sheffield. Due to the short term nature of the role, we are only considering candidates within Sheffield or reasonable commuting distance (no relocation).
