Engineering Manager

CK Group are recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join a pharmaceutical company at their site based in Irvine on permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a global life science organisation. Their Irvine site is a cell culture media facility.

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Irvine and will require you to attend site daily.

Engineering Manager Role:

Your main duties will be:

• Direct the maintenance, renovation and repair across the whole site including production, laboratories and warehousing.
• In manage and improve the sites preventative maintenance program.
• Manage the 5-year capital plan and budget.
• Instil a culture of co-working, ownership and accountability amongst the engineering staff.
• Managing the workload and development of approximately 30 staff.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

• An apprenticeship or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Significant people management experience within engineering.
• Significant experience within manufacturing, ideally pharmaceuticals or something similarly regulated.
• Excellent experience in developing and management preventative maintenance plans.
• Strong leadership ability.
