Civil Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a specialist Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, on a permanent basis. This role will involve overseas travel to East Africa for a period of 6 to 10 weeks.

This role is located at our client's site in Sheffield but please note, this role will involve overseas travel to East Africa for a period of 6 to 10 weeks.

Your main duties will be:

• Overseeing the construction of Civil Engineering Projects, Project management of all site based activities.
• Liaison between the site based client, contractors, and the project team.
• Management of petty cash, including budget forecasting and reporting of expenditure.
• Negotiation with site sub-contractors, where required.
• Auditing of engineering works at key stages.
• Implementing and conforming to the project specific Quality, Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures approved by the client.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Degree in engineering discipline.
• Full driving license is essential.
