Automation Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for an Automation Engineer to join a pharmaceutical company at their site based in Hatfield on a permanent basis.

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer with products across the Oncology, Neurology and Pain therapy areas.

Location:

This role is located at our clients site in Hatfield. They are able to offer flexible hours and hybrid working.

Automation Engineer Role:

Your main duties will be:

• To manage and deliver projects across integrated automation systems within manufacturing and packaging.
• Managing resources, timelines, suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Working proactively to identify opportunities to improve technologies and processes within automation technologies in manufacturing and packaging.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

• A degree in electrical or automation engineering.
• Prior experience delivering automation projects within a manufacturing environment, ideally pharmaceuticals or a similarly regulated industry (medical devices, food, FMCG).
• Great project management experience from design through configurations, implementation,testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and validation.
• A project management qualification would be desirable.
• Expertise in operation technology cyber security would be highly valued.
