CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Coordinator to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes, based in Bathgate on a contract basis for 12-14 months. There is strong potential of the role being further extended.

Salary: From £24.00 per hour depending on experience

Location: Bathgate. This site provides end to end clinical supply services and has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors’ studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. They also have high-speed, automated primary packaging for blister packs and semi-automated packaging for bottles. They offer packaging design services on site, as well as secondary packaging and clinical labelling services.

EHS Coordinator Role:

  • Develop and maintain the Bathgate EHS strategy, policy and the EHS management system.
  • Be part of the EHS function including EHS training to ensure this is carried out to maintain competence in EHS activities.
  • Ensure all annual environmental data reporting requirements are undertaken to meet submission timelines.
  • Support investigations into near misses, accidents/incidents, diseases and dangerous occurrences including remedial measures.
  • Provide support and EHS guidance on site crisis management plans.

Your Background:

  • Experience within a similar role with management experience.
  • Health & Safety related qualification e.g. NEBOSH (desirable).
  • Experience in a similar role ideally within a pharmaceutical/GMP environment.
  • Strong stakeholder/relationship experience across multiple levels.
  • Internal/external audit experience.
