Design Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a glass manufacturer at their site based in Ormskirk on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is global leader in technical glass manufacturing.

Location:

This role is located atour client's site in Lathom but will require travel both domestically and internationally.

Your main duties will be:

• Leading design contributions to a global portfolio of capital projects.
• Supervising the design work of other design engineers.
• Management of design projects.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

• A degree level education in mechanical engineering.
• Previous design experience for capital projects.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, lifting, transport and load bearing equipment.
• Knowledge of heavy product packaging and handling areas would be beneficial.
