Join Natasha Young at the RSC ChemCareers Webinar: Green Skills in the Chemical Sciences

We’re pleased to announce that Natasha Young, Senior Manager at CK Group, will be a panellist in the upcoming ChemCareers webinar hosted by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). This session will explore how sustainability and the green transition are reshaping skills and recruitment in the chemical sciences.

According to the RSC’s Chemistry Future Workforce and Education Pathways report, roles in chemistry now require green skills at eight times the national average—a trend that’s only set to grow.

In April, Vicki Walker, Sales Director at CK Group, took part in a popular RSC webinar focused on sustainability careers in the chemical sciences. We’re proud to continue the conversation with Natasha’s participation in this important follow-up event.

What to Expect:

Natasha will be joined by:

  • A Technology Development Lead from Croda, sharing how green skills are valued in chemical manufacturing
  • An R&D Chemist from Johnson Matthey, discussing work on PFAS analysis and sustainable membrane research

Natasha will offer a recruitment perspective, including:

  • The green skills employers are prioritising today
  • How jobseekers can better position themselves for sustainability-focused roles
  • Trends shaping the future chemical sciences workforce

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is ideal for:

  • Chemical scientists at all career stages
  • Students, graduates, and professionals interested in sustainability
  • Anyone seeking to align their career with the green transition in chemistry

🔒 RSC Members Only

This event is exclusively available to Royal Society of Chemistry members.
Can’t attend live? A recording will be available in the ChemCareers webinar library after the session.

We’re proud to support this important discussion and to see Natasha representing CK Group as part of our continued collaboration with the RSC.
