Waste Chemist

CK Group are recruiting for a Hazardous Waste Managing Chemist to join a Waste Management company at their site based in Darlington on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary dependent on experience.

Location:

The Managing Chemist will be based at the company's site in Darlington, easily commutable from Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Bishop Auckland and Durham.

Managing Chemist Role:Your main duties will be:

• Managing a team of chemists
• Sampling and laboratory testing of waste
• Stock control
• Spill response
• Supporting the Commercial function
• Accepting/dispatch of waste
• Packing work

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

• HNC/HND/BSc/MChem/MSc in Chemistry
• Experience of working in the hazardous waste industry
• Willingness to work outdoors in potentially all weather conditions
