Warehouse Manager
CK Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager
to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes on a contract basis for 3 months initially, with the possibility of extension.
This is a shift-based role 4 on 4 off with 12 hour shifts, including days and nights. 40.25 hours per week.
Salary:
£19.48 per hour PAYE
Warehouse Manager Role:
- Responsibility for the safe and effective operation of warehouse activities.
- Responsibility for the operation and accuracy of the Warehouse Stock Management System.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current Health and Safety legislation, COSHH, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Monitor the performance and potential of the team and provide the direction and motivation necessary to secure optimum commitment, competence and performance.
- Liaise with Production, Engineering, Quality Control and other departments to ensure work procedures are complied with.
- Establish and control the warehouse KPI’s to ensure effective & efficient management of the warehouse operation.
- Ability to prioritise workload and resources in order to fulfil the Company's needs.
- Effective communicator, logical thought process, and be able to influence others through reasoned discussion.
- Experience in a GMP warehouse environment .
- Prior Warehouse Management experience.
- Good working knowledge of Lean Thinking and implementation of lean projects.
- Ability to coach and develop subordinates and peers by acting as a mentor where required.
