Sr Associate Global Study Planner
This company is a leading, value-driven biotechnology organisation with a clear mission: to help patients. In Breda (ABR), we take care of the planning, preparation and coordination of shipments for clinical studies. We also focus on the packaging and distribution of medicines that are produced worldwide. In doing so, we work closely with departments such as Operations, Customer Service & Demand, IT and Quality.
Your role: As a Global Study Planner, you will be responsible for independently executing the Demand and Supply Planning processes for assigned clinical studies with an international scope. You will ensure optimal stock availability of medicines throughout the entire duration of the study – from start to finish.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week based in the office in Breda, Netherlands, and 3 home working.
Your tasks will include:
- Planning and managing the demand and supply processes for up to 10 clinical studies.
- Coordinating packaging and labelling orders to meet the study's demand in a timely manner.
- Ensuring supply readiness at the start of new studies.
- Balancing stocks and minimising waste.
- Resolving logistical bottlenecks that affect studies and R&D milestones.
- Identifying and escalating risks to stakeholders and management.
- Using systems such as SAP, forecasting tools and internal dashboards.
- Actively contributing to improvement initiatives and cross-functional consultations.
- Completed higher professional education in logistics, business administration or similar.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in supply planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of (clinical) supply chain management.
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of regulations surrounding clinical supply chains.
