Senior Scientist - Immunology

CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Senior Scientist, with an cellular immunology and cancer biology background, to join a growing biotechnology company, based in London, on a permanent basis.

A global biotech company specialising within the field of immuno-oncology.

The Role:

This is a hands-on role and a great opportunity to contribute to the innovation of all aspects of the company’s pipeline and platforms, and be involved in the design and execution of experiments in the areas of therapeutic antibody discovery and pre-clinical development. The successful candidate will also review and interpret translational data from external partners and being involved in other laboratory activities.

Your Background:

• PhD in biological/biochemical science, with experience across academia (post-doc) and/or the biotechnology industry (5 years+ for Senior Scientist level).
• Understanding of the biologic drug discovery, therapeutic antibodies and pre-clinical development process.
• Strong expertise in the field of Cancer Biology/ oncology / immuno-oncology.
• Technical skills in the following: flow cytometry, primary cells, mammalian tissue culture, cellular assays (e.g. ADCC/ADCP, cell binding assays).
• Data analysis expertise - some level of programming understanding i.e. R, Python.
