CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Research Scientist - Immune Reset to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis initially for 12 months.
Salary: £28.53 - £30.00
per hour PAYE, £38.84- £40.00 per hour Umbrella
(some flexibility for more experienced candidates).
Senior Research Scientist - Immune Reset Role:
• Develop and perform relevant functional assays for screening, mechanism of action and target validation studies as appropriate.
• Analyse and interrogate scientific data and demonstrate ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Disseminate data for wider review and present experimental data at cross-functional meetings.
• Maintain compliance to procedure by completing training modules and maintaining accurate experimental records.
• Contribute to the development and incorporation of innovative technologies and/or techniques.
• Comply with human tissue act (HTA) regulations, ensuring the relevant training is up-to-date and that HTA policies and procedures are read and understood.
Your Background:
• Ability to develop and optimise in-vitro cell-based assay systems.
• Experience of complex cell assay systems such as organoid/ organ-on- a chip models highly desirable.
• Experience of isolating/ culturing human primary cells
• Expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry, including design of antibody panels
• Proficiency in relevant software packages for data analysis – e.g., Flow Jo, GraphPad Prism, and Excel.
• History of compliance with human tissue act guidelines for work with primary human cells/tissues.
