Sealant Chemist

CK Group are recruiting for a Chemist, to join a chemical company in the Aerospace industry, at their site based in Shildon, on a 6 month fixed term contract.

The Company:

Our client manufactures paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.

Salary:

Up to £15.30 per hour (PAYE).

Location:

This role will be based at our client's manufacturing site in Shildon.

Chemist Role:

Your main duties will be:

• Participate in development of new products.
• Provide advice and recommendations to other departments and customers to assist in solving potential problems and queries.
• Carry out other work as required according to Task request system.
• Input formulations into site MRP system.
• Meet with suppliers to discuss new materials or problems with existing materials.
• Support quality department in resolution of customer complaints.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Scientific knowledge, particularly Chemistry based.
• Ability to formulate coatings/sealants - preferred.
• Full UK Driving licence and access to a car.
