Scientist - Protein Biochemistry

CK Group are recruiting for an enthusiastic Scientist, with a background in protein biochemistry and characterisation, to join a growing biotechnology company, based in London, on a permanent basis.

The Company:

A biotech company specialising within the field of immuno-oncology.

The Location:

London.

The Role:

This is a lab-based role and a great opportunity to contribute to the innovation of all aspects of the company’s pipeline and platforms, and be involved in design and execution of experiments, furthering product discovery and development projects, as well as being involved in other laboratory activities.

Your Background:

• PhD in biological/biochemical science, with relevant research experience across academia and the biotechnology industry.
• Experienced in AKTA and protein characterisation.
• Understanding of the biologic drug discovery and pre-clinical development process.
• Technical skills in the following: construct design, protein expression from bacterial and mammalian host cells, protein purification (affinity determination, cell binding etc.).
