UK & Europe | Senior Recruitment Leadership Role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced recruitment leader to join our senior leadership team as Recruitment Director. This role is designed for a proven life sciences recruiter who combines strong personal billing credentials with the ability to build, lead and scale a high-performing recruitment team.

Based in the UK, this is a high-impact role offering genuine autonomy, influence and long-term progression.

The Role

You will take full ownership of a recruitment business unit, delivering permanent and contract recruitment solutions across the UK and Europe. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set the standard for high-quality recruitment delivery and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building, mentoring and leading a high-performing team of recruitment consultants
• Leading from the front with a strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle
• Driving new business development and expanding existing client relationships
• Delivering consistent revenue growth across permanent and contract recruitment
• Developing trusted partnerships with senior-level clients and candidates
• Identifying new market opportunities and supporting European expansion
• Working closely with the CK Group leadership team on strategic growth initiatives
• UK-based, with occasional overseas travel

We offer a salary of £60,000 per annum, Plus Commission and Bonus Structure.

About You

You will be a proven recruitment professional with experience operating at a senior leadership level within life sciences recruitment. You are commercially astute, consultative in approach, and passionate about developing people and building sustainable recruitment teams.

You will likely have:

• A strong background in life sciences recruitment (biotech, pharma, medtech or related sectors)
• Demonstrable experience building and leading recruitment teams
• A track record of personal billing and commercial success
• Confidence managing senior client relationships and complex recruitment projects
• A leadership style that is visible, supportive and performance-driven
