Purchasing Senior
CK Group are recruiting for a Purchasing Senior to join a Chemical company at their site in Wigan on a permanent basis. This is a Monday to Friday, 8-4pm or 9-5pm role. The salary is £45,000.
The Company:
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Standish, but will also cover their other site in Wigan.
Purchasing Senior Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Supervision of two purchasing staff and ensure they carry out their duties in a timely manner and work is of a correct standard.
- Setting KPI’s for the department and monitoring of them.
- Responsible for all purchasing department activities
- Negotiating all prices and terms and conditions.
- Arranging Supplier meetings on a regular basis.
- Running the Supplier Quality Assurance System.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- 5 Years Purchasing / Supply Chain Manager Experience.
- Chemical Background Experience.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
