Production Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Production Manager to join a chemical company at their site based in Alfreton, on a permanent basis.

This is a demanding role requiring a proven track record in leadership, planning, and production management within a manufacturing, chemical, or FMCG environment.

The salary for this role is £45-50K pa and the role is Monday- Friday on site.

Our client is one of the country's leading suppliers and manufacturers of solvent and water based products.

Location:

This role is located in Alfreton.

Your main duties will be:

• Take overall responsibility for the daily running of the production department.
• Act as the “go-to” troubleshooter, resolving day-to-day production issues quickly and effectively.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet order deadlines and customer demand.
• Balance workload against raw material availability, staffing levels, and machinery capacity.

• Proven leadership experience in chemical, FMCG, or manufacturing production.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience at management level.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
