Process Development Chemist

CK Group are recruiting for a Process Development Chemist, to join a leading provider of specialty metals, alloys and materials. The role is based in Rotherham, and is on a full time, permanent basis.

Salary Range:

£32,000 - £36,000pa, dependent on candidate experience.

The Role:

Carry out process development work in the laboratory and pilot plant to support strategic objectives.

Your main duties will be:

• Designing, planning and performing laboratory-scale experiments.
• Writing reports.

The ideal candidate's skills, qualifications and other attributes:

• Experience in a wide range of laboratory Skills and Analytical Techniques.
• Degree in Chemistry.
• Practical experience of process scale-up from laboratory to Pilot Plant.
• Forklift truck (FLT) Licence - desirable.
