CK Group are recruiting for a Microbiology Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis initially for 6 months.

Salary:

14.74 per hour PAYE

Microbiology Technician

Role:

  • Carrying out testing for Routine Analysis (Endotoxins, Bioburdens, Total Viable Count, Environmental Monitoring).
  • Perform a range of basic routine analysis using (list techniques) under supervision of a senior member of staff.
  • Operate basic lab equipment.
  • Use of generic and specific software packages required for the role: Laboratory’s LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etc.
  • Perform Lab admin and housekeeping duties, as directed.
Your Background:

  • Experience of high volume routine testing as a microbiologist.
  • Biochemistry or analytical experience.
  • A relevant scientific degree or hands on experience
  • Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self motivated, enthusiastic and quick to learn.
