Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

CK Group are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of fine chemicals based near Cambridge. This role is a full-time permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform directed maintenance, servicing, administrative, and related tasks under the Maintenance Lead's guidance.

• Prioritise safety by conducting basic risk assessments, ensuring safe operations, and compliance with company procedures.

• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and contractors.

• Assist the Maintenance Lead in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities.

• Mechanical maintenance experience with basic electrical knowledge and skills.
• Knowledge of working with hazardous chemicals and materials, including associated risks.

• Basic proficiency in using tool craft equipment, including grinding and welding tools.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
