Maintenance Lead

CK Group are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Lead to join a leading manufacturer of fine chemicals based near Cambridge. This role is a full-time permanent position.

The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in maintenance management and a dedication to safety and quality.

The working hours for the role are 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance with company QC systems, policies, and SOPs within the maintenance department.
• Plan, manage, and execute daily maintenance activities, coordinating maintenance engineers and contractors to meet production demands.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth site and department operations.
• Ensure proper hazard identification, control measures, and implement process improvements as needed.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by the Site Director.

• A qualification in Engineering, preferably mechanical or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous experience working within the fine chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Working knowledge and understanding of relevant H&S laws and regulations.
• An understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
