Global Head of Preclinical Pharmacology

Jocelyn Blackham is recruiting for a Global Head of Preclinical Pharmacology to join a global leader in animal and cell model generation, on a permanent basis.

Global Head of Preclinical Pharmacology role:

• Lead and manage the pre-clinical pharmacology teams based in Boston as well as China.
• Develop and implement global strategies for pre-clinical research, in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the designing, execution and analysis of pharmacology studies.

Key duties will include:

• Project management as well as budget and resource management.
• Act as point of contact between company as well as clients.
• Frequently travel between sites (in Boston and Beijing to oversee operations).

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• PhD qualification in Immunology, Pharmacology, Toxicology or a relevant field.
• Previous experience working within pre-clinical pharmacology with a CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience working within a leadership role.
