Glassware Cleaning - Entry Level

CK Group are recruiting for an entry level position as a Glassware Cleaner for a chemicals company that uses digitization to discover, design, and create new molecules and materials. This role will be based at their site in Glasgow and is a contract role for 3 months with Mon-Fri working hours. 

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are looking to join at a entry level position, ideally those who have just left college or completed their A-Levels. 

The Role:

The role entails being responsible for cleaning the glassware in the lab, sometimes working with acetone and methanol to clean the glassware. 

Essential:

• 5 GCSE's - A* to C / Grades 9-4.
• A-Level / College Qualification.
• Must have an awareness of health and safety within the lab in regards to chemicals.
• Must have an understanding of 'near misses' and how to prevent these.
• Happy to work 10:00-18:00 and 14:00-22:00.
