EHS Specialist

CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Specialist, to join a chemical manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire, on a temporary basis. This position will provide assistance with day to day EHS, within a leading Semiconductor and Electronic Materials manufacturing company, in process safety.

The salary is equivalent to £40,000 per annum.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals and materials, supplying to many companies worldwide.

Your main duties will be:

• Develop, implement and manage programs and processes
• Provide guidance, leadership and technical support to

  facilities

• Lead the implementation and direction of EHS programs
• Implement and conduct audit and risk assessment programs

• Provide support on recurring environmental compliance obligations, including compliance recordkeeping, reporting, testing, etc
• Develop and maintain relationships with operating plant / facility staff that support a collaborative model of providing EHS support.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
• A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Good expertise in environmental and waste management.
• Proven experience in incident investigation.
• The ability to quickly integrate and perform effectively, as this is not a junior-level role.
