Continuous Improvement Manager
CK Group are recruiting for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager, to be part of a senior management team and join a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and vaccines spanning a very wide range of indications (human and animal). This is a permanent role located near Guildford and Woking, with flexibility of hybrid working (3 days onsite minimum/ 2 days WFH).

The Role:
As part of the senior leadership team you will identify and formalise the Continuous improvement strategy and associated projects with site director and global team. Additionally, you will support the short to long term priorities and any key decisions that relate to the continuity and development of the site, whilst also ensuring efficient and sustainable implementation of business performance excellence tools and methods.
Responsibilities:
- Leads high-impact continuous improvement projects.
- Adopt and roll out various CI methods to find opportunities for improvement as well as losses, which can be further investigated to determine root causes.
- Develop strategies - Act as an internal consultant and develop short and long-term strategies.
- Define and standardise problem solving methodologies and support implementation and development of staff.
- Serve as a coach to coordinate workshops and team training's, openly sharing guidance and technical expertise.
- Supervise on continuous improvement principles and Lean organisation principles.
- Guide and support annual strategic project management process (building, scheduling, monitoring, closure).
Your Background:
- Successful track record with skills and experience gained in a similar position(s), at a similar level, coupled with Pharmaceutical experience.
- Experience of project management and particularly lean or six sigma (Green belt minimum), plus evidence of tools and methods of continuous improvement, problem solving, root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership/team management skills and experience.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Collaborative and solutions focused with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Creatively challenges the status quo to find new ways of working, making improvements to processes.
