Antibody Discovery Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Antibody Discovery Scientist, to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough, on a contract basis initially for 12 months.

Salary:

£16.37 ph PAYE or £22.29 ph via umbrella

Antibody Discovery Scientist Role:

• Support immunisation-based antibody discovery within a team environment.
• Perform antibody binding assays using flow cytometry and ELISA.
• Carry out mammalian cell transfections and cell culture.
• Generate mRNA-LNP as a reagent for immunisation.
• Help to organise the immunisation timetable for various projects.

Your Background:

• Graduate scientist (degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related Biological Science) with a strong academic record and laboratory experience.
• Industrial experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience with some of the following techniques would be advantageous: Mammalian cell culture, preparation of cell suspensions from mammalian tissues, Flow cytometry, ELISA, cell imaging, PCR, cloning and working with mRNA.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and present data generated.
• A highly motivated individual with a proven ability to deliver to tight timelines.
