CK Clinical are recruiting for a Screening Manager to join a industry-leading clinical development services business on a permanent basis.

The client conducts human challenge clinical trials. The end goal of their clinical trials is to potentiallyeradicate common illnesses like the common cold and flu completely – or at least make treatment of them as easy and effective as possible. Volunteers are central to the work that we they. Their studies focus on testing new treatments on real people,in a safe, controlled, clinical environment. This role plays a key role in the provision of screening services at their sites. The post holder will act as facilitator and organiser to ensure the delivery of daily screening activities.

Location:The client is based in Whitechapel, in East London where they have two fantastic sites. You will be require to be on site for the beginning of your employment but there are opportunities for flexible and remote working.

Salary: For this role the salary on offer ranges between £55,000-£65,000 p/a.

The role:

  • You will be responsible for the assisting the management of two of the clients screening sites in London and Manchester.
  • Assist with and oversee the daily management and allocation of workload within the screening environment.
  • Preparing, planning and execution of daily screening activities
  • Ensure staff are trained and that there is sufficient staffing to conduct assigned work.

Your Background:

  • Prior experience leading or managing a a commercial environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation, having to communicate with different stakeholders in the wider business.
  • Prior Clinical Research experience (advantageous), previous experience workingon phase I & II trials.
  • Operations experience.
