Protein Scientist
CK Group are recruiting for a Protein Scientist to join a drug delivery technology company at their site based in Cardiff on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Our client is a drug delivery technology company focused on improving the bio-delivery and bio-distribution of medicines.
Salary:
- 27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
Location:
This Protein Scientist role is based in Cardiff working fulltime 37.5 hours per week.
Protein Scientist Role:
Thisis an ideal opportunity for a talented, self-motivated research and development scientist to help develop improved, long-acting therapeutic products for biologics.
The job role will be focussed on the formulation of protein therapeutics, including antibodies, using a novel manufacturing system. The role will comprise working in a team to complete a mixture of in-house and client-specific feasibility projects covering the research, formulation, and development of novel long-acting injectablebiologics.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Experience with protein biology, biophysics and the relationship between structures and functional behaviours.
- A strong scientific background with a BSc in Biology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences related subject
- Good written and verbal communication skills
