GMP Operator
CK Group are looking for candidates with a GMP production background, who can be flexible and enjoy a variety of tasks including working shifts (days and nights) . The successful GMP Operator/ Biotechnologist will join a dedicated shift teams for a biotechnology company at their site based in Nottingham, on a permanent basis.
Shift Pattern: A 12.5 hour day and night shifts to cover a 24 hour production schedule. A combination of 7 Day shifts and 7 Night shifts (12.5 hours) over a month (14days in total). The working hours would be 7am - 7.30pm for days, and 7pm - 7.30am for a night shift (including weekday, weekends and public holidays).
Benefits: On offer is salary up to £30,000 including shift allowance, plus bonus (performance related), defined contribution pension, private healthcare, 20 days holidays, and optional exercise classes/ social activities.

Responsibilities:
- To work in the manufacturing department to produce GMP compliant biopharmaceuticals to a defined schedule. This encompasses the operation of manufacturing equipment to carry out GMP production of biopharmaceuticals
- The role will involve production processing including Fermentation, Cell Separation, Chromatography, Final Ultrafiltration and In-process Sampling and Analysis.
- Calibration of instruments and maintenance during processing on maintenance shutdown periods
Your Background:
- Scientific background, coupled with previous experience of working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Must be physically able to complete the tasks associated with production work which will involve lifting, working at height, working with restricted access.
