This RSC members-only webinar will explore the growing field of sustainability-focused careers in chemistry and how chemical scientists can play a crucial role in tackling global challenges.
The session will cover:
- Where chemists can make the biggest impact in sustainability
- Industries with the highest demand for chemical science skills
- Career routes into the sustainability sector
Representing CK Group, our Sales Director Victoria Walker will speak about the current job market, the types of employers seeking chemical scientists, and how jobseekers can prepare for opportunities in this space.
Joining Victoria on the panel:
- The Training and Partnerships Director at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Chemical Technologies at the University of Bath, who will share insights into the career paths of graduates and their real-world impact
- The Policy Adviser for Environment at the RSC, who leads work on the circular economy and net zero, offering valuable guidance on how chemists can shape environmental policy
The session will be chaired by Sarah Salter, Career Advice and Guidance Manager at the RSC.
