CK Group are recruiting for a Communications Manager to join a diagnostics company at their site in Burgess Hill, on a contract basis for 12 months.  

Salary:

From £300 - £375 per day PAYE or £400 - £500 per day via Umbrella.

Communications Manager Role:

  • Work with colleagues within the communications team and across the business to devise and deliver communications content and campaigns which engage and raise awareness of our purpose, strategy and goals with both internal and external audiences.
  • Work with the team to develop and deliver our communications strategy, through content which amplifies our key messages and effective use of our internal and channels.
  • Devise and deliver communications plans against objectives and through a variety of creative and compelling content.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business to gain an understanding of the projects and activities that require impactful communications support.
  • Build measures into all activities to contribute to an overall metrics-driven picture of communications impact and use measures to inform future communications activities. 

Your Background:

  • Excellent planning, organising and project management skills.
  • Experience of developing content for a variety of channels (digital and face to face).
  • Relationship management; building relationships, influencing and negotiating.
  • Solid knowledge of communications best practice.
  • Ability to understand complex and technical information and translate into engaging content for a variety of audiences.
  • Proven success in the delivery of communications activities and campaigns.
  • Demonstrable skills and ability to work flexibly and adapt to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to measure impact of activity and use insight to shape future communications.

Desirable:

  • Interest or skills in photography, videography and editing.
  • A knowledge of digital platforms including content management systems.
  • Excellent media management skills and a sense of what makes a news story.

Location:

This role is based at our clients site in Burgess Hill for 2 days per week with the rest of the week home working.
